Doilies, Ice Drops, Pendants, Button Motifs, Edgings, Dangles, and Motifs

Vera is working on Renulek's Spring 2016 doily using size 16 Eldorado thread and she's hoping that it will be finished by the end of the month.

Diane loves the soft colours of this Ice Drop in size 20 Lizbeth Blue Ice, so she just may keep it for herself. She started an Ice Drop using Karey Solomon's gorgeous Distant Mountains HDT and finished it off as a pendant. Then she started her Minty Fudge pattern in the same thread.

Fox finished another button motif gift. After another aborted start on the Maranta doily, she went back to tatting a soothing button motif. She cut off the offending rows of the Maranta Doily as the long chains were, once again, a disaster. The third pair of socks had been completed and awaits delivery to the young mom and her little one. Some of AkenAleaDesign's lovely HDT, #40 Macan in another button motif.

Marie is emptying shuttles tatting angel dangles. This is the last angel before she goes back to her doily. She tatted a few simple motifs to give away while she's travelling.

Wanda wanted an edging for a doily on a butterfly themed project. She started with Mary Konior’s Butterflies from her book “A Pattern Book of Tatting”, although she was working from the picture and not the patterns itself. That didn't give her what she envisioned, so she added another row and attached it to butterfly patterned fabric for a finished doily that's about 9.5 inches across.
